He restores my soul ~ (12/1/2023)

Shalom All

This weeks portion is about restoration, Psalm 23:3 He renews my life; He guides me in right paths as befits His name. (renew and restore comes from the same root word. As King Shlomo said, that which was will be), We await for that which was.

While it was a better week than last week, every day is a challenge every day is a mystery.

While men has tried to solve human affairs, only God the designer, creator of life can know the outcome for every thing. Our job is to plant the seed of faith, water our HOPE, and wait for the fruit of our Salvation.

Our relationship with God goes through these transitions with us. When we are struggling we turn to Him in prayer even as we feel our faith challenged. Our faith is tested by difficult times, we find ourselves wondering if the Lord has abandoned us. These doubts are perfectly normal human reaction to suffering, even King David in Psalms asked the Lord, “My God! My God! Why have forsaken me?” Psalms 22:2.
