Celebrate God, not circumstances (10/4/2024)

“Shana Tova U'Metuka!” “Have a good and sweet year!”
Amidst all the deaths, wounded, and destruction of property, we beg God to remember the Patriarch and we ask for a sweet and joyful New Year.
How can we do this? How do we see death and destruction all around us and in turn we ask for joy and sweetness? The reason we can is because we do not trust circumstances, we look at our God who is in control of every breath, and for this, we trust that no matter what, God is the giver of life and death, in that case, we celebrate God not circumstances.
Shabbat Shalom.
