Greetings in the Name of Him Who is Revelation!

Oil has reached record levels on the world market…gold is trading at its highest level in nearly three decades…the U.S. dollar is at its lowest value in 34 years…General Motors has reported a $39 billion loss for the third quarter…Iran has reached a key milestone in its nuclear program of having 3,000 working centrifuges for its uranium enrichment…Pakistan, America’s ally in the war on terror, is amid a general crisis where terrorists are attacking from within and opposition parties are on the rise, signaling more political disruption…Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pressing Israel to give up parts of Jerusalem and its traditional lands of Judea and Samaria in a land for peace deal.

These are just a handful of the news events that are seemingly not linked together. There are countless more. It is no stretch of the imagination to say that the entire world is in disruption of some form or another. But for the United States of America, the disruption—economically, politically, and even in the climate—is one of the most prevalent in decades. Looming over the country is China’s decision to “diversify” its $1.42 trillion in foreign exchange away from the dollar and into other currencies. This single event alone could throw the U.S. economy into a tailspin and because of the U.S.-China trade deficit, it could mean that China would rule over certain segments of the U.S. economy.

The Iranian nuclear program is yet another huge concern. Fueled by Russian technology and expertise, the Iranian nuclear program will be capable of producing an atomic bomb in less than a year, according to many experts. Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was broadcast on state television as saying, “The Iranian nation has entered the phase of industrial scale of nuclear fuel (production) and the train of the Iranian nation's progress is irreversible.” This, combined with the Chinese technology on missile development, almost assures Iran’s entrance in the nuclear club unless action is taken to prevent it.

The Bible prophesies that in the latter days Russia, Iran and other nations will come against Israel in a colossal end time battle. These two countries are quickly coming into alignment with that prophecy. The one nation that holds them back is the United States. But the U.S. is dabbling in dangerous waters by trying to force Israel to give up part of Jerusalem in a land for peace deal. Zechariah 12:3 says, “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces.” Certainly, America is burdening itself with Jerusalem and the consequences may be looming on the horizon—just read the headlines.
